Almost everybody on this forum loves the club. It's human nature to seek out or hope for love in return from those that you love. Ergo, the unrequited love that members of this forum have for the club is a source of great frustration.

I hope Laidley gives him more than one week in the AFL line-up, he has proven that with kids he gives one game and then drops them again unfortunately.

I've got no problem with the policy of giving young blokes a taste of AFL for a week or two so they know what it's all about then sending them back to the VFL for further development, so long as it is communicated to them that this is what is happening and that it's not about punishment for mistakes or a poor game. Ben you would be in the best position to ask the likes of Goldy whether he was told clearly after his first couple of games why he was relegated.

Justified decision to play Warren ahead of Jones. Well done young fella. Midas can eat humble pie on this topic. His work rate off the ball was sensational but needed to finsh off his work still. Good to see more talent comming through.

Hey he showed a bit today, don't know anything about him, maybe saw him once in the vfl, but at least he took marks and crashed and dived on the footy, which is more than I can say for Jones. We someone like him up forward, although Edwards might get a chance, but he doesn't do enough off the ball for my liking.

An excellent debut. Lead up well and demanded the footy. Had sticky hands and delivered the ball well to his team-mates. His kicking at goal was off which was interesting because in the warm he nailed everything. He seems to be a player that wants to compete. Lock him in.
