Of course it's a success, if anything we over achieved.
We went from never making finals to winning 15 games and winning a final in Perth.

Now we have set the bar for success for this club and need to back it up next year.

But yes, this year was a success.

100% a success. The playing list grew as a group, we had multiple players stand up and have career best years. Made finals, won a final. There is so much to build on here.

Rowellow, swallow having the winning score in our first final. Have no doubt were aren't far from the premiership window.
Hopefully we add at least 1 of the targets (Elliot, Trac, Curnow) and be in the window next year. If not, id be nervous for us around the Tassie entrance. Hawks 2013-15 incoming for sure

pre season, I thought the goal was the play finals.

We did that, so it's a success.

Next year, the goal is to do better, and yes, that can be interpreted a couple of different ways, but that's because it's a pretty vague concept....Things like.
Make a prelim
Home final.
Final at MCG (for the experience).
When we do lose, fight it out and make the other team have to play their best.

Although to be honest, making the finals again will be good in itself...The players need to get comfortable with the idea that making finals (and winning at least some of them) is the level that should be expected/normal, not a huge achievement to be celebrated.
