Some of the things that happened to our Suns in 2025 :

First finals appearance.
First finals win.
Matty Rowell wins the Brownlow (Noah Anderson 6th).
Not much noise about our players wanting to "go home"
Biggest attendance at all Suns games all time ( best ever away attendance, 2nd highest @ home )
Yearly membership record set
Jed Walter wins the Grand Final sprint.

Should we classify this season as a successful one?

100% success.
Rowellow, swallow having the winning score in our first final. Have no doubt were aren't far from the premiership window.
Hopefully we add at least 1 of the targets (Elliot, Trac, Curnow) and be in the window next year. If not, id be nervous for us around the Tassie entrance. Hawks 2013-15 incoming for sure

You forgot Noz winning goal of the year ;)

Jed winning the GF sprint was the cherry on top!

pre season, I thought the goal was the play finals.

We did that, so it's a success.

Next year, the goal is to do better, and yes, that can be interpreted a couple of different ways, but that's because it's a pretty vague concept....Things like.
Make a prelim
Home final.
Final at MCG (for the experience).
When we do lose, fight it out and make the other team have to play their best.

Although to be honest, making the finals again will be good in itself...The players need to get comfortable with the idea that making finals (and winning at least some of them) is the level that should be expected/normal, not a huge achievement to be celebrated.
