Kingsley played 110 games and kicked 227 goals for this club.

He was far from "the problem". He was the maligned player of the era as Mensch was before him and Gardiner is now. There will always be one at this club.

That said, it was right for both parties to part ways.

I agree with you there, but I wouldn't put Kingsley in the same category as Gardiner. Kingsley was AFL standard, Gardiner isn't.
