To see supporters do that stuff tonight, pretty ordinary.

I understand the frustration - i don't understand the total disrespect.

Message to the fans: You can't get blood out of a stone. We don't have the players and we don't have a coach. It's not one individual, but a collective rabble.

Im absoulotly devasted by that supporter and the game. If i was seriously tim fleming i would of grabbed that guy and just pushed him over the edge and walked away thats it he wouldnt of got fined or anything.

Talking of fleming very happy with his game tonight. Krakouer was good. Browny was also. Just shows how much we miss Richo and staff.

But seriously guys im worried about our future. I can feel a merge coming on if things dont get right soon enough.

Imagine the guys like blumfield etc how would they be feeling being part of a club where if u have 1 quite game the supporters want your head for it. Feel sorry for hartigan and roachy aswell having to put up with that $hit. They are 17 year olds for god sakes and they gotta put up with drunken cockwits like that.

If i was even at the footy i would of swung at that guy. Thats not richmond. He cannot call himself a richmond supporter and even those guys that were laughing at him cant clal themselves true supporters.

Im sorry danny but i think its your last year of coaching for your life. Play the kids. Give tuck a go he has been good for coburg so give him a run. Give hartigan and that for game time and make morrison CHF all game. And all the players in their normal possies. Rest coughlan and bring in gilmour. Give zantuck a week and bring in tuck.

Im trying not to think about tonight. Well actually its now yesterday as i just looked at the clock. The broken glass, the way we played, the attitude towards the club, The fact that we have the 4 out of the first 6 games on a friday night making people watch us with all this ****. its going public and not putting a good name towards richmond football club.

I expect there to be a truckload of chicken manure by tomorrow morning.

Only thing im hanging my hat on this year is watching krak develop, getting good draft picks, a new coach and hopefully some aggressive trading by Mr Greg Miller. This is the year he will show us what he can do.

Goodnight

I cant understand the anger.
The only way to go forward in this comp is to get concessions and first round picks.
Dont these morons understand the game.
The list is not up to it.
I was laughed at pre season by saying this is the worst RFC list in 10 years. Who is going to argue now?
Prepare for more of the same, this year and next. Its is the ONLY way to move forward these days.

always said like diggler we had poor cattle...hopefully we can contine to play kids and unearth a few players

will repeat:
i have been critical of us on some occcassions it is true but right now i do not think i have seen the club at a badder stage....we need to stick together unearth a few players and put in the hard work at all levels

the performance of some of our supporters over there was disgraceful

i hate seeing my club self destruct stand up tigers and be proud of supporting us in a positive way

wooden spoon guy could be considered funny the rest was a disgrace. As for diggler, i posted about finishing last early on. Its our only hope. The worst thing for richmond is to win 6 games. Under no circumstances should we win more than 5 games now. This years draft is a good draft. Its a good one to have atleast 2 early picks and if ottens goes home we could have as many as 4 top 10 picks. Thats how you rebuild the list ... with quality kids coming thru all the time!

I can categorically say Julzqld, it wasnt me waving the spoon! It was funny though.
And it definately wasnt me that threw the glass through the window in the corporate box.
Call me a sadist, but I want them to finish last, with as little wins as possible.
Its the only way you can move forward in this comp.
And I was told the best young draftees this year will be key position players.
Hopefully the club doesnt trade them away.
I like Nathan Brown, but he is a waste of time at Richmond.
His best football is now and it will take 3 years at least to be competitive.

Providing Richmond fixes the recruiting and the coaching. Haven't managed to do this since 1982, some 22 odd years. Why will it change now?

The only way to turn things around is to take a medium term view (ie a five year plan) and put the basics in place which is recruiting first, followed by coaching. And even then it is difficult - just ask the doggies.

Disagree, diggler.

All we need is some confidence and a bit of structure to be competitive. Sydney are a perfect example this. A smattering of very good players and a list that is playing well together.

We don't have the list that compete's with the likes of Brisbane and Port Adelaide which is to say, we don't have a list capable of a premiership.

Competitive is immediate as long we get some people that can instill self-belief into the time (big IF). A premiership list is 3 years away, provided we are smart with quality early draft picks (another big IF).
