Watching 2013 GF in readiness for rematch*

First quarter;
1. So proud we made it to a grand final. Haven't watched game since off-season. Still nerve-racking.
2. Love the purple presence in crowd. What an atmosphere we contributed. 100,000+ rare air these days.
3. Fyfe monstering the contest. Can't wait for Sunday to see him do it against Hawkers.
4. I'm very unforgiving of Danyle Pearce. He wouldn't be my 22..
5. This may end up being torture to relive a 4th time but I'm doing it..

Second quarter;
1. No bounce going our way. *shake fist at footy gods*
2. Have no problem with us wearing white in the grand final (now) Anytime. Anywhere. Any strip.
3. "Pearce has been sloppy" - effing oath Bruce.
4. Gunston...I wish he was injured for this week! Yup, sportsmanship be damned.

Third quarter;
1. Lyon interview at half. "No guarantee we'll be back here".. hope hes wrong!!
2. Perfect start. When we are behind we need good starts. Did it last week too final qtr
3. Obvious one. We miss Walters scoring AND pressure.
4. Lifted in this quarter. Can hear it in the crowd noise.
5. Lake dog act. Should been reported!
6. Match mirroring 2010. We should have known it was loss bound?
7. LOVE the mayne goal. Best moment of the GF. I miss mayne being a goal kicker
8. I feel like #1 backman needs to go to Gunston not Roughy.

Fourth quarter;
1. Ouch Smith goal
2. Neale was sub. He is now best 21. Good stuff.
3. Got smashed inside 50's that quarter.... no good.
4. Fyfe has such inertia at a stoppage. Glad everyone in australia saw it centre stage
5. Wave of hawthorn scoring. Can't let this happen this week or meeting in finals. Must lockdown.
6. Too little too late.

Didn't hurt too much this time. Feel for the people who flew and sat in that heartache post game.

Just to clarify this thread isn't a "lets do" type initiative. It was merely my own compulsion. Glad it's done.

Didn't watch round 3 merely because it would be no instigator of passion. Was a dud game.

I so want Dawson to play a blinder. He needs it for the faithful. For the run into the finals.

Was one of the ones there, sitting heartbroken. Have watched the replay a couple of times. Kills me to say it, but...if we'd just been accurate from set-shots? We'd have had that first flag. Hawthorn are a powerhouse, but we beat ourselves. Fyfe hits those two set-shots in the first? Momentum flows our way and we have Hawthorn on the ropes.

Luke Mac doesn't over-step the mark v Buddy? We concede 1 point, not 5. Pav, Ballas, Suban, Barlow, Ryno and Hilly all missed gettable goals. Danyle Pearce had his worst game in purple, Zac Clarke had no presence up forward.

Lots of folks here want revenge on Geelong. Well, we've proven time and time again we can beat them, I want to knock off our biggest tormentor, Hawthorn. Let's get 'em on Sunday!

Stings to the core, doesn't it. It would have almost been better to get flogged by 100 points but to know that we had every chance to win is just heart breaking.

I forced myself to watch it a few weeks after the event - can't remember exactly when.

Can't say I enjoyed the experience of course, but for me it helped put things in perspective a bit; we weren't as bad as I first thought on live viewing and really could have easily have won it.
