Move on Lance.

Will do Quinz.

Just want to say I think the better team won, and that your effort to make top 4 this year is extraordinary and deserves applause.

Yeah I'm a little offended, but I like the Eagles and I wish you well in the finals. Well done today. I'll move on now before Reep gets home blind on single malt and starts hanging shit on me :)

There's a similarity I think between the Essendon and Eagles fans. We both support extremely strong clubs and can be shamelessly one-eyed, especially in losses.

It's why I hate-respect the Bombers and I've noticed a lot of Bombers fans feel the same way about us. Probably belongs in the other thread* but I feel that the finals don't seem quite right when Essendon aren't in them.

* I can do what I like though

Does Waters have any carryover points or a poor record , and will this be a factor?
3 weeks....maybe 2 with an early plea? :(

Caryover points only last for 12 months so he should be fine with that.

He won't get 25% off for a good record though.

No way should he go for that, but who knows with the MRP.
The one from Hams was worse.

:thumbsu: cheers for clearing that up

Hope it's 2 matches/1 with an early plea then

should be negligent, high contact, high impact imo if they say its a reportable offence. thats 6 activation points i think but it could also be deemed reckless, high, high which would be 7 and a 3-4 week suspension. Should be zero though imo.

technically Lynch copped an accidental knock to his head, why isn't this looked at by MRP?

He'll go down surely. No idea how long for though, it is a potshot.

Negligent/Reckless (1/2 points)
Medium/High impact (2/3 points)
High contact (2 points)

So, 5 to 7 points, Level 2-4, 250, 400 or 550 points. So, 1-4 weeks.

I say he gets negligent, high, high and goes for 3 weeks. Either that or they let it go through to the keeper as an accident, a la Maxwell's bump on McGinnity. However, dunno if they will do that to us.

I reckon if he gets offered anything then the club should challenge it. They could argue that he went to brace for impact and threw his head back to protect it, but in doing so his shoulder came forward. But who knows how they'll view it.

Thoughts on Lovett-Murray dropping his knee into Kerr's guts after laying that good hip and shoulder?

Then again if he got weeks it would be a bonus for Essendon.

This was deliberate rough conduct, Waters was not deliberate. He kept his elbows down and even dropped at his knees a tad, its not like Beau ran at him, jumped off the ground with an extended elbow to connect head high was it?
