He gets bagged unmercifully often however, today Wayne Cambell was inspirational. Don't get me wrong, he can be bloody awful but recognition where it's due.

Also, how good was Mark Chaffy? Although Hilton was burning, the Tiges didn't lose anything with Chaffy replacing him.

The game was there to be won at 3/4 time and Campbell duly delivered, possibly playing the best quarter of football he has ever done.

Campbell is much maligned and most of it goes back to the Captaincy issue and he is treated unfairly in my view. If he was to miss a large part of the year through injury a lot of the naysayers would be counting the days to his return.

Chaffey was great today and it was good to see up the ground a bit more.

Rodan's star keeps rising too and Poyas with some extended game time showed enough to get a run again next week.

Bad luck to Hilton, they had to take him to hospital and give him a general so they could pop his shoulder back in. OUCH!!

I never got to see the match but I'm so glad to hear he did well and the team won. Sounds like it was a good last quarter!

granted cambo played a great capt,s qtr yesterday however until he proves to the football world that he can show leadership against the best then this is about as good as it gets!
a ghreat win by the boys yesterday despite losing gasper before the game and hilton who was b.o.g. at the time before doing his shoulder.
*mark chaffy great effort considering he has only played one full game the week before.showed courage in the last qtr end result a goal and the clincher.
*ezra poyas.came on and added some spark around the ground.good for his confidence.
*david rodan.as each week goes by the more i like this lad.while so far he has limited game time the fact is when he is out there he contributes.
*andrew krakour.this is a real toughy!a great pre season but hasnt really set the world on fire so far.there is no doubt he has talent and he is only young.do we drop him next week to get a full game for coburg? or do we take him over to perth against a freo defence which would give him more space.
arron fiora.not really his fault danny should have shifted him off green.if he is to be a defender he must learn to play in front.
*mathew knights.the signs dont look good for this champ.looked slow yesterday and was caught a few times.

overall one of the best wins by the boys considering we were missing our bookends.

yep Wanye Campbell was great i hope he can keep it up trought the hole season.he played quiet well in the frist 3 quarters but in the last quarter he was just great.
