He was not a better footballer than Knights and Richo ...

i still dont think knighter gets the credit he deserves. i still believe he was better than wayne.
My worst period of Richmond supporter was during the Campbell time. Just that look of panic and the lack of vision, the horrible kicks. I'm not going to get involved with this because I really had a real unhealthy anti Campbell thing going for a long time.
He was hard at it, professional, good mark and good kick for goal but just that look of panic on his face when in the mid field just erked me. Should have been a 150 game half back flanker at the most.
Use to say that the opposition coaches would instruct their midfielders to make sure Wayne got plenty of the ball. The more he got it the less chance we were of winning. Aren't I horrible.
Despise all things Terry Wallace and think the sooner we move on from that era the better and prefer we move out all those who remain in the positions they where in when the maggot was at the club .
so were giving him a full time wage to tell them how to be good leaders? isnt that something dimma and assistants could do?

Maybe there's more to leadership than many may think.![]()
Agree. A little bit of class goes along wAy in my book.
Yep Campbell was an Excellent player..my goodness if someone thinks that Campbell is a weaklink in our Club ..then we as a club dont have to many problems..Campbell is a club legend..leave him beThis redneck bluster that lashes our best players through the darkest era really irks me. Never mind every useless silly we drafted r 1 that didnt fire a shot, blame our most decorated players...yeah that makes sense![]()
If campbell can contribute then of course his role should continue
And am I right in thinking that Cotchin really rates WC as a coach? I'm sure he has mentioned before about learning a lot from him.
Rumour is that WC will be getting the Coburg/Richmond VFL coaching gig.

You do realise the tie I was making between Wallace and Campbell was the fact that Campbell was one of wallets assistant coaches .You do know that Wayne Cambell only played one season - 22 games - under Wallace. Trent Cotchin probably played more. Deledio probably played over 100.
For all the Wallace-bagging that goes on, his first 3 years were at least as good as Hardwick's, and he took over when we were the bottom side - worse placed than under Hardwick. Yep, he failed - so do 90% of coaches in the AFL.
But even if you still hate Wallace, you can't really tie him in with Wayne Campbell.

Wallace may have a similar win / loss record to Dimma over his first three years the big difference is Dimma's record is on the back of developing for the future . Wallace never once had an eye for the future it was all about his win/ loss record , which seem him regularly bring in overpriced players and left us with the worst list in the comp when he finally got the flick.
Read my initial post I stated , or words to the effect , that I would prefer all those who held positions when Wallace was there are removed from those positions . Yet acknowledged that WC is very well respected for the work he does in developing the younger players especially outside of footy And therefore believe there is a role for him at the club.he came back to the club in 2009 - he would have been working with Wallace from October through to April. So because he worked under him for 7 months you consider him tainted?

Sorry, but I don't support anyone within the role they held when Wallace was there , as it was very plain to see that the jerk wasn't doing what was in the best interest of the Richmond Football Club and to ignore it was as good as supporting it .
At no stage did I say or suggest he is infected.but seriously, seven months? Thats barely out of a single pre-season and you think he's infected?
Unfortunately your earlier posts in this thread are lacking just that.Agree. A little bit of class goes along wAy in my book.
