I don't know why Freo are being rated as top-4 again. Apart from Fyfe, who is already a beast, where is the improvement going to come from? Especially scoring improvement? With Pavlich only serviceable and on the brink of retirement, they won't struggle to kick a winning finals score any less than they did last year. This might be the year for us to finally beat the Dockers again - hopefully by exploding with a huge score that they just can't match.

Not phonetically. The er and air sounds are different on the end of a mill and he says it as sounding like air. There is no extend r sound as well. ;) The trick is that it is said fast while other people I've heard try to extend the name out, hence the drawl of miller-rah that people think.

there's no air like Belair sound in there at all, trying to say air quickly to make the right sound is still making a different sound. I'll change my submission to Mila-ra if anything.

EDIT: or Mill-a-ra perhaps. Doesn't really matter, I know I'm saying it properly because I'm mimicking Wayne from the video, however we choose to write that down is another story.

my point is that if you write anything with "air" in it your average person reading it will not say pronounce his name anything like Wayne does in the video, you'll get exactly that drawl Milaiiiira which is certainly incorrect.

hard to score against, home games (should win 80-90%) and harley bennell is a goalkicker
they'd want one of their young forwards to come through- pearce, taberner?

maybe top 6 rather than top 4

I'm sure its a similar situation to Daniel Ricciardo, there's the Italian way of saying it and then there's the "just say Ric-kardo you lazy bastards, that'll do".

Milera will be a player for us. He just has that hint of class and composure that great players have.

I thought he might get a game or two this year when we drafted him but at this stage, I think he will play at least half of his games in the AFL. A very nice pick up by the Crows. The drafting continues to be top notch from our recruiting department.

imagine how quickly he will improve once he is playing week in week out and adapting , too good not to play him

I doubt he will play every game. We will manage him to get the best long term results but he will play games if healthy. No doubt about it.

yes i don't think he will either but I'd be happy with 12-15 and think he will develop v nicely the more he plays
 
A forward line containing a rotating mix of Walker, Betts, Menzel, Cameron, Milera…WOW! The sheer talent and genius in that group is amazing. Won't make the 22 yet but McGovern also has similar X-factor.

You do realise they were top last year?
They dont actually need to improve at all to be top 4.

Also they havent lost anyone except mcpharlane and theyve gained Bennell.

They were only a couple of close games away from finishing fifth. I don't believe the addition of Bennell or their great midfield is enough to counteract their almost complete lack of attacking ability.

And if my auntie had balls she'd be my uncle. The order changes substantially if you start giving 2 games to teams.

They have the best small forward combo in the league, even better than ours with Ballantyne and Walters.

While their talls lack depth, they don't need to score big to win games.

They still have the WA advantage.

They'll win at least 14 games.
