The point is that once you have said something, you can't take it back so there is no point in apologising.

It just makes you look weak and indecisive.
This is just woke bullshit.

It is the WOKEs that are the paradox. I am sorry I told the truth, and the truth hurt your feelings.

Lol, you should always believe in yourself and what you say.

The Swans may actually learn from what Wayne Milera said.

Instead, they are in a river in Egypt.

De Nial.

It is a bloody long way back if you are trying to swim through it 😃

Sydney came out and said they weren't offended by the comments so why is this even a thing
Jack Riewoldt was offended.

I'm offended that Jack Riewoldt has been given a significant role on Fox as he is terrible!

You have to consider how Milera is with all this beat up

He's most likely fine, especially as the club hasn't made him do any media fronting up about it.

Players know the industry they're in. Wayne would know it's news this week, gone the next.

Did we find out who actually complained in order to warrant an apology ?

Or was it a club directive ?
Our CEO rang theirs to apologise & theirs said we had nothing to apologise for... probably because it's true!

Why do we make nothing media stories into a bigger media story...

Club directive

Didn't like how it sounded

What did the Geelong players say about us after they walked all over us in Q4? Nothing, because clubs very rarely talk disparagingly about other clubs, even when it's warranted.

A minor misstep, dealt with quickly. Won't happen again.

We move on.

And then you also have Chris Scott saying he won't censor his players when Smith made the nose beers gag on Instagram.

must be nice

He's putting in a really solid season. He's never going to reach the heights I thought he would. Whether that was due to injury or just not being good enough. But it's definitely best 22 in his current form and the more consistency of games the better he seems to be getting.

Fair comment. Started the year badly but has improved. Overall he’s been a bit ahead of Hinge, but behind Laird and Max, of our smaller defenders imo.

He's having a pretty good year, overall. Not a superstar but provides enough value to hold his spot each week. I'll put my hand up and admit I wondered if the game had gone past him after the last injury.

His disposals in the front half of the ground in particular are quality.

While he deserves his spot and did some nice things tonight, there were a few times he put his team mates under pressure with poor decision making and ball use while not under much pressure himself.
Is what it is though, carry on

Best and worst of him tonight
