They bullied them on the field, not in radio interviews.

It's not a big deal, but it's a pretty silly thing to say. Club was right to just get on the front foot, say sorry, and move on.
Sometimes they were pretty open about it …

<Sam Mitchell injecting gif>

The idea that the club apologised because they are "woke" is pretty hilarious though.

Yeah, that angle I do not understand 😂

Hilarious that media made this a story, saying that it was outrageous that Milera called the Swans a rabble, so we apologised, and now the media re saying we are weak. Another example of them making the story. Noone was outraged

Absolute joke. Don't criticise them. They might start crying 🙄

Yep. We're a rabble

Spot the difference time:

Stengle literally ODs in a nightclub and plays the next week

Geelong: "**** off everyone - his drink was spiked. Nothing to see here."

Junior makes one minor, off the cuff comment that's pretty accurate and even Sydney aprobably agrees with

Adelaide: "Oh no what an awful thing to say😭😭😭. Milera was so mean!!! Sorry guys!!! 🫶🙅"

One is an organisation that is accountable to ****ing no-one.

The other is an organisation that, even when just being a bystander in a situation, still gets punished, therefore is scarred.

'Rabbles' an offensive word now?

I think this is the core of the confusion here. Nobody is saying that what Milera said was offensive in the way that, say, a slur would have been. Calls that the clubs is being "woke" are off the mark, this is not that sort of situation.

It's more along the lines of going on radio and saying "hey that mob are pretty shite, eh?" It puts a target on your back, and is especially silly when coming from someone like Milera who has achieved two thirds of nothing in his career. Yeah, Sydney have shat the bed since failing in the grand final last year. How many finals have you played, Milera? Zero, is it?

Look at how Hinkley and co turned a social media post from Ginniver into a week-long call to arms, resulting in an upset finals win. And that was for a completely innocent comment which had nothing to do with Port.

Giving clubs ammunition like that is silly and unnecessary. It's not a big deal, though. The club came out and said, yeah, our bad. Everyone moves on. It's not a big story.

When sidebum got done for breaking a covid curfew. Eddie was all, the poor lad had two scotch and cokes, he was at a mates house, now he doesn’t really drink so he had to take a nap, then he woke up disoriented and decided to walk home!

We’d have sent him for detention with St Nicola

Disagree. Shows what we choose to care about. We are a soft weak PR driven club.

Now Jordan Dawson has had to defend Milera and his benign and correct comment

Milera should try the Port Adelaide trick of when assaulted by the media and use the race card against them. It doesn't have to have any relevance to the subject. That will shut them up. ;)

Jeezus is this still going?

On the Geelong comparison v Us - what do you think is the main difference?

Geelong are an arrogant club and use that arrogance effectively - we are the gimp grovelling at the feet of AFL house and the media

I want arrogance

The media are filth. Can't blame the AFC for coming out and apologizing. They were damned either way. We live in a world where even it offends one person; an apology must be made. The crazies are running the asylum.

You can't blame the AFC for being abit gun shy. It was only less than a year ago that a "journalist", Josh Money, completely fabricated the story that Draper didn't want to play for the AFC.

Some flog on SEN with King this morning was saying how damming the comments were and then in the same 2 mins said how outrageous it was that we apologised 🤣🤣

King loves the crows now and had out back funnily enough
