> Better balance between attacking and being conservative with the ball in hand , pull the trigger more often
> Settle the team well before finals
> Coaches to resist the temptation for "brilliant" but ultimately go smackingly dumb selection decisions in big games
> Either play 2 tall forwards and 2 rucks or 3 tall forwards and 1 ruck - need at least 2 tall marking threats forward at all times
> Be prepared to take the game on and break lines - Clark , Steven, Narkle , Stewart and OConnor to use their pace more.
> Play selfless football and value the team above all else
> Hope the Tigers are satisfied

Agree.
I’d add ‘continue our luck with injury’ - we lucked in big time on the injury front with only a few seasons enders. Also, Managing the oldies and Steven to get the best out of them will be key.
Getting Jenkins gives the extra marking option we desperately need (and means we don’t have to rush Freddie who I think needs more development), but we do have to settle the forward structure and leading patterns earlish into the season.
As pointed out by others we need to develop run and quicker passing from backline and mid field - Duncan recovery and Clark development are going to be important. If Guthrie can replicate his form in the semi and prelim into 2020 that will also help take pressure off Danger and Selwood.
I think Tigers are going to be massively hard to beat in finals but we do have the squad to challenge, if (and only if) everything goes absolutely right.
