Every team fell in a hole in the back half of their innings in these 4 games, like clockwork. McGrath couldn't even accelerate down the home stretch despite her red hot form, not sure what the notion of it being a great batting pitch is based on.

Freshie on Tuesday should get the par score back to 160+ initially, doubt it holds up by Wednesday evening though.

Too old now really and we have Gardner for the off spin type
Still in her twenties, which isn't old. Is a better off spinner than Gardner although Gardner has shown improvement this season.

They would want variety so a leg spinner or the orthodox is the way they would go 9 times out of 10. Don’t need two offies

They've played Molineux and Jonassen in the same game, Ashes Test in 2019, the ODI's and T20's against NZ, the World Cup last year, and both are left hand offies. They are willing to do it regularly at all forms, so I don't see why they couldn't try Strano and Gardner.

To be fair Jess and Molineux are sort of different despite being left armers. I can’t see them going to Strano that’s not to say she’s not a good bowler but just feel they won’t.

Stars are gone. Lanning follows Lanning, two bowled in two balls.

This is probably what we were expecting from the Hurricanes over the weekend, but it didn't click for them. Today, their bowling unit has looked really dangerous.

Looked like a 140 pitch only. Dog had its day in the first game and the Scorchers were snoozeville in the field again for the 2nd (plus Devine was a bit unlucky in the mammoth 20th over, though the tactics were pretty wack). The extra 10-20 runs bringing about a lot of poor shots in the run chases? Not sure if that was the reason, not sure if it matters.

Any talk about bringing in DRS for the WBBL is such a laugh when 60% of the games still have the Channel 31 coverage incapable of delivering run out/boundary reviews, vision synchronised with sound, scorebug showing the target score... and so on. But at least the ratings for the proper televised games have been relatively good so far.
