Brisbane possible team

Brisbane have 11 players who have played 13 or more games, so its team will very likely be:

Mooney (+)
Green
L Harris
G Harris
Jonassen
Short (Captain)
Kerr
Johnson
Kimmince
Hinkley
Prestwidge

Plenty of bowling options with Johnson, Kimmince, Jonassen and Kerr all taking 12 or more wickets each. Prestwidge and G Harris have also been handy.

Melbourne Renegades

Similar to Perth, the Renegades will be without 2 Englishwomen - Wyatt and Beaumont.

Possible team:

A Lanning
Attapattu
Duffin (captain)
Webb
?? Blows
Dooley (+)
Wareham
Leeson
Brown
Strano
Tahuhu

Wyatt and Beaumont are unavailable
Koski and Molineux are injured/ill

That leaves Kershaw or Blows as possible replacement batters.

There are already 5 bowling options with Tahuhu, Wareham, Brown, Strano and Leeson.
The Renegades might choose Blows ahead of Kershaw if they are looking to have a 6th bowling option.

With the Renegades also without Molineux (a huge blow) on top of losing their two English internationals, I give them basically zero chance of winning unless A.Lanning and Duffin both have 60+ innings'.

Heat have won the toss and are bowling. Renegades to bat first... probably makes this game either a contest (if the Renegades top order stays in throughout the powerplay and more) or barely much to watch if the Renegades lose their best batters early.

Athapaththu out LBW to Amelia Kerr for 21 off 19 might put a decent dent into the Renegades' total... but that brings Duffin to the crease with Dooley (on 20* off 16)... of course hawk-eye shows the ball missing off stump by a fair distance.

Duffin is hitting her stride nicely at 25* off 23 (after a slow start) and Dooley is still going well on 42* off 32. 2/109 off 15 overs means this total could get to a quite nice level.

I'm thoroughly impressed with how long Jess Duffin has managed to keep this sort of form up... I keep expecting her to go on a failing spree, but she just keeps succeeding... 2/131 off 17 and Duffin has raced along to 42* off 31. Dooley is just padding hte other end now that Duffin is smoking them and she's on 47* off 36.

Jonassen was very good with the ball to get 1/25 off her 4 considering she got belted about a bit in her last over (and a bit).... the rest of the bowlers were pretty average.
