Jason Richardson on comms reckon it was a wide, Hodge says the reason it was a 50:50 call........and reckon the batter moved across the crease too much.

and the tables after Game 37:

Renegades become the 1st team in WBBL9 to be eliminated and the Stars keep their slim mathematical chances of making the Finals alive.

The Stars are the only team that have to play the Scorchers at the WACA in the remaining fixture and look the two teams are miles apart at the moment, so they will need results to go all their way if they lose that one and win say 3 of the other ixtures.

Cricket Victoria got what they wanted.... a game that went down to the last ball. It had suspense but generally speaking - it was an error riddled game wasnt it?

If I was Renegades management I would bite the bullet on Hayley Matthews and let go of her next season. None of these imports are the answer for next season. Just need to cut their losses on her. Im sure she is probably good enough to thrive in another environment.

Kaur looks like she doesnt want to be there. I dont know what the WPL salaries are like- but it seems a bit weird none of the other indian players are here except her. And her body language has stunk most of the time.

Beaumont isnt aggressive enough in the Powerplays despite having a reasonable English summer over there. I think on bigger grounds of Aus have found her out.

Todays game was the equivalent of West Coast Eagles v North Melbourne in the AFL. Both teams didnt seem that fussed about winning.

I wonder if Kaur is a little frustrated with Matthews captaincy or even with her being named captain, when we had a player of Kaur's experience being overlooked?

Both can be selfish players, but Kaur has runs on the board, including her previous stint in red

Maybe a few big egos in the squad and not enough of a team mentality

Ismail gets to play so thats a big news for Hobart.

Going to need a team effort and bounceback after losing last game to Sixers.

Interesting little fact?

The last 2 games played at the Blundstone , where the team batting 1st has posted exactly 139, the chasing side has lost.

So Hobart have a chance .
