Sophie Day with figures of 3/16 off her 4.0 overs.

Stars might have a couple of decent spinners in their ranks in Moloney and Day.

Standings after Game 47:

1700372557599.png

Perth Scorchers and Adelaide are now confirmed Playoffs for 2023.

if Hobart or Sixers drop 1 of their last 2 , they will be out.

Brisbane has now opened a small window for the teams below them to sneak in.

It is so tight right now for 1st to 3rd spots...........so tight.

Brisbanes two losses to the cellar dwellers has probably meant the Grand Final wont be played in Brisbane.

Perth have the draw to clinch the minor. I just hope Hobart miss out we always manage to play awful against them

And thats the last game at the Junction Oval for WBBL 09.

Happy memories.

A lovely ground in St.Kilda and I hope to visit there for some more fixtures in future.

Adelaide could lose to Perth, and somehow still finish on Top of the table.

Still all sorts of permutations heading into the final 9 games or so.

Adelaide v Thunder is going to be an absolute cracker.

Winner of that game will go top of the table and they will have control of their own destiny in terms of Top Spot.

Still going to suck when we lose Knight for the final though.

Id fancy Perth or Adelaide to knock them off in Sydney if they dont have Knight.

Agree especially if it means Talia “crab” Wilson bats for a long time

There's been a fair bit of promotion for next weekends Sydney Smash at the SCG. I'd be interested in comparing the spectator experience to that at North Sydney. One thing that concerns me is the availability of shade in the GA seating.
Similarly the MCG could feel very empty for the Melbourne derby.

Been to SCG and North Sydney as a cricket fan.

North Sydney you feel like its more of a community and closer to other fans. SCG is good too and is the home of cricket in NSW, but it does feel a lot more 'corporatey'

Just don’t see the point I’m going but see no point playing games in stadiums that will be 1/4 full at best
