Observation tonight too was the 'dew ' factor was really relevant in the games in Brisbane. Might be something to watch out for in the mens BBL games played in Goldy/Brisbane this season.

Im not sure if any Victorians can clear this up for me, but Junction Oval is in the precinct of the F1 Albert Park area?

Thunder losing Heather Knight, would be equivalent to Perth losing Sciver-Brunt/Amy Jones should Perth go on to win the Grand Final.....which in a way cancels itself out.

You feel like Brisbane would be the team that feels the less pinch as they have Bess Heath who hasnt really impacted as much .

Did you see her bat yesterday? Both the Perth girls are out too

The Adelaide bowling unit is the best in the comp. Her leadership and most of her batting at times is cool and composed. Someone like Kapp really struggled.

Cricket Central is a harder ground to score runs too.

Kapp has struggled all year and it wasn’t that hard. Run a ball is not asking too much from an international. Her captaincy has been good but her batting has fallen off a cliff this year

Right not Knights batting is more reliable than Kapps.

Thunder should be chasing mid 120s targets most days of the week. You did sense of all the bowling units in the comp that could defend that sort of score, it was going to be them.

It will give them huge confidence going ahead, defending anything lowish.

I actually blame the openers a bit and I love Phoebe but that shot was as reckless as can be, all they needed to do is not lose a stack of wickets early and they walk it in...what do they do, the opposite. Our brainless captain shouldn't be bowling first though we are dreadful chasing targets we have been all year even when we have chased it we've made it hard.

As long as we keep Hobart out of the finals I'll take it

This might be a bit of a stupid question guys but if you buy tickets at the Gate, does one avoid the 'Handling Charge'?

I know this has been answered, but here it is in picture format - the bright yellow is the F1 track, and bottom right is Junction Oval

Perths batting really relies on Mooney and Devine. They set the tempo for the rest of the innings. If you get Devine especially in the Powerplay (first 4 overs) you go a long way to winning a game.

Stars too good tonight and Perth are in a battle now to get the Top 2 spot.

I popped down to the WACA and most likely now that will be last game for WBBL 9 for Perth with an attendance of 2,099.

Think that’s the last game for Nat Schiver Brunt and Jones too
if you take out Nat Sciver Brunt and Amy Jones out of the team it weakens their batting significantly.

Sophie Day has been a positive light for the Stars this season. Bowled really well last night.

Day should be in the National side ahead of JJ on form.
