With this big Perth win likely now, already having the best Net Run Rate in the comp- that NRR is almost like half a game on the chasing pack.

She knows the T20 game inside out, I also rate Heather Knight as a captain, and do rate Tahlia McGrath. No surprisngly the best 3 teams are the best captain teams IMO.

Perry is a decent player but not sure about her as a captain as mentioned by someone on this thread. Hayley Matthews has poor body language as a captain.

As a Gades, IF we could have our choice of intentional player (not talking draft), Devine or Knight, purely down to leadership, knowledge of their game and the game

I don't think we really had a plan for when Satterthwaite retired - we went with Molineux who's had mixed success, and while she's contracted for the next couple of seasons, I'm not sure we should necessarily burden her with the captaincy upon her return & instead let her find her place in the team & game again

A strong leader is worth their weight in gold, and for struggling teams even more so

Capsey has to go and Kaur with the wicket. You'd hate to be getting out to here especially when you have just settled in.

As soon as Capsey moved to switch hit that, Wareham moved - very smart fielding

Hodge reckons Thunder should have taken the Power Surge in Balls 61-72 and I tend to agree with him.
Hodgey reckons he has the answers to everything re T20 cricket. The other commentators in the box never ask him the obvious to question his summation, which gives me the shits.

Are you Brad Hodge? Hodgey complaining that there were no steamed 'Marathon Dim Sims' lol. Only got the fried variety........

I don't like steamed dim sims - but there was plenty there when I walked past earlier

I actually think the Stars know deep down they dont have much batting depth and are being a tad more conservative up front today. They are taking a leaf out of the Scorchers handbook earlier and looking to keep wickets in hand on the back end.

Is Sophie Reid a good bat? She is batting at 6 for the Stars today. Interestingly enough, she is wicket keeper.
