I think the Heat will win by around 25 runs, similar to the margin between these two sides the last time they played in Adelaide. 170 is a tough chase in a final

Required run rate for Thunder getting to 10+ per over with 13 overs to go. Thunder dont want 5 to 11, chasing those kind of numbers in the backend here.

Genuine question, what would have happened if Sydney, Brisbane or Adelaide were hosting these fixtures? Would they have kicked the Shield game off to Cricket HQ/AB Field/Karen Rolton? Or would those venues host the WBBL finals? Or would the curators had to have prepared multiple pitches?

Sydney would have been at NSO. Brisbane they announced would have been at AB. The final on Saturday is in Adelaide Oval.

Brisbane have a shield match at that GABBA, Pretty sure North Sydney Oval was due to be booked had one of the Sydney teams got 2nd spot. WA state team were playing at the GABBA s, so it had no affect on venue availability - the WACA.

I’m also assuming the Grand Final will be played on a used wicket? Curators I don’t think will have enough time to prepare a wicket given there is a shield match there at Adelaide oval this week .

I know, that's why I asked what would have happened if it had been one of the three Shield venues. Good to see that the Shield would have taken precedence (note, this isn't a women's vs men's cricket thing, it's a FC should always take precedence over T20 thing).
