If they do ever win a flag - the hilarious and i mean absolutely the best thing about it - will to be condescendingly happy for them about it.

They will be there with all their bile ready to rub it in our faces, we instead give heartwarming congratulations with plenty of references to all the years its taken them and how frustrating it would be to watch us win flag after flag and it must feel good to have one under your belt etc etc etc

Nothing will piss on their parade more

I go occasionally just to read the melts but they're so full of hate. I mean I take the piss out of them all the time but they're beyond that over there, all their posts about us are so bitter and angry.
I paid a visit yesterday and reintroduced them to the concept of booing the decision and not the player. Like someone farting in a lift and getting out on the first story I just left it there, haven't been back to see what sort of reception it got.

I think you've probably been banned from the lift, sensitive lot over there

It was an intense game ...hoping the Prelim final is just a good high quality game .
BT was saying that Optus is like a Colossium where every seat is good and involved the crowd . Also reckons if we had a bigger stadium West Coast fans would go , actually sounded a little concerned :rainbow::thumbsu: !!

Gone from knitting needles to scary monsters :rainbow:

What are your thoughts on it? Do you like it? Little embarrassed by it? Proud of it?

Personally, I think it's great that we have managed to create a collective energy that influences umpires and can turn momentum in games. It has angered me in the past that opposition supporters continue to call us dimwits, bogans, flogs because of it, but I think its time we just embrace it and be proud that we bring the energy to the game.

Thoughts?
It's obviously upset the out of towners otherwise they wouldn't complain... So the crowd should go even harder. Not here for tea and scones.

Back in '88, when John Todd took the reins, one of the first things he said was that our home crowd had to become less hospitable to visiting teams. Back then -- and I realise I'm going back 31 years, so my memory may be a bit off -- but we were just so chuffed at being allowed to be in the VFL that we treated visiting teams like rock stars. They weren't rock stars. They were vermin and they needed to be put down. And the only reasons Freo supporters hate our home crowd is because it's bigger, louder and accustomed to more success than theirs.

Oh and because we are arrogant.

Which fan base would hate to be known as arrogant? Seriously? That’s a compliment.

Well apart from freo fans. They clap and accept poor performances.
