I go occasionally just to read the melts but they're so full of hate. I mean I take the piss out of them all the time but they're beyond that over there, all their posts about us are so bitter and angry.

I paid a visit yesterday and reintroduced them to the concept of booing the decision and not the player. Like someone farting in a lift and getting out on the first story I just left it there, haven't been back to see what sort of reception it got.I go occasionally just to read the melts but they're so full of hate. I think you've probably been banned from the lift, sensitive lot over thereI paid a visit yesterday and reintroduced them to the concept of booing the decision and not the player. I've embraced the hate and probably boo more now than ever because I know it gets right under their Pricktorian skin. **** the campaigners.

Pendles just quoted as saying it’s probably the loudest crowd he has played in front of...

It's obviously upset the out of towners otherwise they wouldn't complain... So the crowd should go even harder. Not here for tea and scones. What are your thoughts on it? Do you like it? Little embarrassed by it? Proud of it?
Personally, I think it's great that we have managed to create a collective energy that influences umpires and can turn momentum in games. It has angered me in the past that opposition supporters continue to call us dimwits, bogans, flogs because of it, but I think its time we just embrace it and be proud that we bring the energy to the game.
Thoughts?
needs blue and yellow smoke surely thats possible .. would look good
It would be so cute if Freo won a flag one day. Would be so proud of the little guys
Back in '88, when John Todd took the reins, one of the first things he said was that our home crowd had to become less hospitable to visiting teams. Back then -- and I realise I'm going back 31 years, so my memory may be a bit off -- but we were just so chuffed at being allowed to be in the VFL that we treated visiting teams like rock stars. They weren't rock stars. They were vermin and they needed to be put down. And the only reasons Freo supporters hate our home crowd is because it's bigger, louder and accustomed to more success than theirs.
Lingy just said Hawks got booed as they entered the MCG.
Hang aren't we the only booers? Melbourne trying to take our crown?
No they aren’t booers, they are just showing “passion”. We are the booers.
Its hilarious that a few years ago freo were counting their fans noise level as part of the equation.
In the words of the big q
Not any more.
