Maybe bring Vardy in for McInnes and Sheed for Ainsworth. Vardy kicked 2 today in the WAFL and Sheed had 36 possessions.

He isn’t immune from criticism. As I posted in the Simmo thread, I’ve criticised him plenty of times this year. These late game fade outs hurt and, if they’re happening more frequently than the average finals contender, it absolutely needs to be looked at.

I’m not saying he’s beyond reproach, I’m saying this one poster, who didn’t say boo for three months and has called for Simmo to be sacked three weeks in a row now should probably change the record.

For the record, it’s not like I think Simpson is some once in a lifetime coach. He’s an above average coach in the league who has found a great deal of success and consistency with a solid core group of players. But everyone having a sook every time something goes poorly is getting old. We’ve been kissed on the dick with coaches for 90% of our existence, and theres still posters who want to get a new coach every other year.

I don’t think it’s a motivation or attitude thing, excluding the first quarter vs Essendon. We have our two pillars out of the side and our full back too for good measure. We are restricted in what we can do with flexibility and our small forwards are having a horrible time without Darling and JK making contests.

As far as I am concerned, we are screwed until we get back two of Barrass, JK and Darling. It also shows that the drafting of the KPP’s last year was shrewd.

Yes you're probably right but it gets so frustrating when they were in a winning position to throw the game away like that. Did they get a bit ahead of themselves at 3/4 time prematurely and got found out before they could blink an eye.

Don't think saying sack the coach is the answer as you always have to get as good as or better than what you're replacing. We are missing some key personnel and there's some who are playing below their best which gives us the durrent situation. Not sure what the answer is except please play fit players. Think there's a multitude of reasons as to why things aren't going well at present which includes players and coaches alike.

Think it's a bit more than just getting back those 3 players. Did we hit a wall after the Richmond game and have just gone backwards since, albeit we are missing some important cattle.

You get a bit hot under the collar at times - take it easy - you just have to take into account here's no doubt a few frustrated supporters who are hurting after a loss that shouldn't have happened being 20 points up at 3/4 time. Life sucks sometimes.

The boys have to realise it's never over until the fat lady sings - they either got a bit ahead of themselves or they ran out of gas? Not sure which it is. They should have come out in the last quarter breathing fire.

All the warning signs were there earlier in the match.

We had just 20 inside 50s in the first half and things were always going to be difficult once it opened up later on.

Ran out of legs in the last and that was the end of it.

24-4 inside 50s against our favour in the last term is the biggest disparity in a quarter for any AFL match this season.


Taking Yeo away from the middle left us badly exposed for contested possessions - however it was a risk that paid off for 3/4 of this match.

At least the coaching panel tried something that got us into a position where we should have won from.


Did Naitanui get a heart transplant when he had that week off? He has been terrible ever since.
