Something is missing..
Aside from the prerequisite humiliation of Fremantle twice each season in the derby, matchups against the roos used to be my most eagerly awaited game each season.The struggle between Carey and Jakovich was one of the most intriguing, evenly matched battles in the competition, but this year, it won't eventuate. When it first hit me earlier this week that there would be no Jako v the King on saturday, well, it made me feel old and stale. Don't ever quote me on this, but as an opposing fan, god help me, I miss Wayne Carey.

No probs with me Mead. A respectful post on your part and it was one of the great one on one battles in AFL history. I'll miss it as well, especially as Carey was getting on top.
