WCE Club Song Re-recording

The guitar strum is solid (bit of reverb), the trumpet adds something different, not terrible imho. I'm glad the "HEY EAGLES" preamble is gone. Pretty solid I reckon.

Solid trumpet shredding is alright for me. Would mentally scar opposition fans for life if we win a GF with it; freaking awesome.

Im no lyrical genius but surely they could reword the original a bit and use that. The 4 lines of chorus is just too short and repetitive.

Maybe something like

(Next verse is fine to keep as it was)

For years we learned the lessons
And we learned them very well
Now we've added West Coast magic

That is so awesome. Love the military band march feel to it. I could definitely live with something like that as the song.

Much better than the previous version - but that WASO version is great. That should be used as the music basis, with a good singer over the top.

Yeah they could do that, but I'd like something a bit more like a team song that we can sing without the music.

Yes agree the original song was the best - never have liked the change but I guess it's hard to change due to the history involved. Liked the words of the original but not so keen on the tune

If i could pick the one thing I don’t like about our club... hate to say it but it’s the song. Looks hard for the players to even get into it sometimes, even after a good win.
