2 players whose home states are not Victoria, which based on their original clubs could be any of:

Jed Anderson, Bailey Scott, Jared Polec, Tom Powell, Tarryn Thomas, Patrick Walker, Phoenix Spencer, Kyron Hayden, Matt McGuiness, Aaron Hall, Cam Zurhaar, Callum Coleman-Jones

Aaron Hall is very religious isn't he?

Why wouldn't a player want to be vaccinated against COVID19?

Even though the current method isn't bulletproof, it surely is still a positive step, and would mean they keep their job playing in the AFL (assuming they want to play).

So much taking sides and abuse in these discussions, is there actually a reason for a player not to take the vaccine in terms of it affecting their health in a negative way?

*Assuming the player isn't making a political point/protest.

There is legit concerns re the vaccines. For example there had been whistleblower evidence that phase three was not conducted under proper scrutiny. FDa itself also wants 55 years before it releases the data relating to approvals. 55 years. You also can't sue Pfizer them for an adverse reaction.

If govts. are forcing vaccine mandates on people, there should naturally be the right to sue for any adverse reactions. This is an industry that has demonstrated its power and regulatory capture on many occassions.

Disclosure. I have had two Pfizer shots.

At this point though anyone refusing is flogging a dead horse. The fight is over. We’ll be well over 90% by the start of next year. They’ll literally be frozen out of society. I’d put money on there being adverse reactions at some point to SOME people, but that’s life, that’s the game we play. They’ll be minimal in comparison to the alternative.

I’m sure as hell taking those odds over full blown covid, and anyone that doesn’t is idiotic and selfish.

If Darling and Kelly were out and being paid the 25% of minimum wage thing that would theoretically put us under the salary cap floor. What's the go there?

The AFL are not going to penalise / act on a salary cap issue due to a player being being inactive because they refused to get vaxxed. You can relax.

A player would sign an extension that brought forward their future salary to the current year, easy fix.

And pay cut/deferment that McGovern took to keep Kennedy and Hurn would be reversed.

I’m sure we’d manage.

Yes you sue the Government.

As for the two shots, that is how it is done, protect yourself and then cast doubt on vaccines for kicks or grift.

Anti Vaxxers need to find something to do to fill in their days.

A lot of them need to fill their time somehow after the whole Trump stolen election thing fizzled out....

What do you mean “fizzled out”? The evidence is coming, just you wait.
