We'll never know the true story, for example a 90 year old man in palliative care catches covid and dies with covid it's classed as a covid death, on the other hand if that same man dies of a blood clot a few days after the vaccine it's classed as a death due to his comorbidities and age.

More FIFA players died of heart conditions whilst playing in the last 4 months than in the last 4 years. Not a chance any of them would come close to dying of covid.... This footy season will be very interesting...

Antivaxxers tried pushing the "here's all the sportspeople who died of vax injury!" line on one of the other covid threads. Turns out they used the names of athletes who died in car accidents and even suicide in their numbers.

The fact they literally took advantage of suicide victims to push a false narrative, would make me look very skeptically at any more of these types of claims/numbers.

In Liam Jones age category there is a 1 in 4009 chance of dying from covid . Its probably way higher given Jones health and fitness levels .

Afl players also get tested for covid more than a few times a week so if he did contract it he would just isolate like every other person .

This is becoming a pandemic of the unvaccinated, not matter how old or fit you are.

There are many good reasons for young people to get vaccinated. Including not dying and not risking longer term health issues. Never mind looking after everyone else.

Spot on.

As for mandating. The workplace and workplace health and safety law is forcing that hand. Directors are now personally exposed to allowing unsafe workplaces to operate and covid in the workplace is the biggest risks to almost every business.

Well that's simply not true.

It's reported to the TGA who investigate every single reported death.

In some cases, it's confirmed to be vaccine related. In others, it's confirmed not to be vaccine related. They are however, all investigated.

Not looking to take sides, but genuinely curious: has anyone who has been making this argument been able to prove that it wasn't the athletes getting covid in 2020/ 2021 that led to them having a compromised heart?

The sources are biased, bogus and unsupported by real world data.

Player collapses on field have not increased since vaccinations were rolled out. The most prominent one - Christian Eriksen - wasn't even vaccinated at the time but is trotted out as an example of a vaccination related incident by anti-vaxxers.

if it's reported to the TGA and whether they do a thorough investigation is up for debate considering the government is the party liable and not the pharma coys. according to the guidelines here https://www.health.qld.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0023/1094621/covid-vaccine-certifying-death.pdf it seems pretty clear cut to me.

regardless, my point still stands, in one case he definitely died of covid and in the other instance it's up for debate. it's heavily screws the data.

No you can't. I'm double vaxxed and not a conspiracy nut but immunity from being sued is part of the deal for these companies releasing the vaccines so fast or they would never agree to it
