this is a West Coast vs Hawthorn thread, carlyp and I will not be sworn at by you.

Sampi is a running player and Hawthorn know it.

sampi is not a running player. you're match committee would be looking towards matera before sampi.
Wanna bet. Sampi was playing in the midfield last week.

We already know who will be playing on Matera. It will be either Williams or Osbourne

Sampi is a small forward! He is not a running player for crying out loud! FFS. stick to what you know, you wouldnt know the Eagles side if they came past you in the main street of Ballarat or wherever your from!

Hawks will give the eagles some trouble.

1. We know Daniel Chick's strengths and weaknesses
2. We have the running players to combat the onslaught of Judd, Cousins and Sampi.

Hawthorn will win by 15 Points

So what if you know Chick's strengthes & weaknesses??? Does that mean if you are able to successfully nullify one player you'll win the match, pfft get bent!

And did you even think for one second in that tiny brain of yours that Daniel Chick could divulge information about the vast majority of the Hawthorn team compared to Hawthorn only knowing about one player (or as you put it: Daniel Chick's strengths and weaknesses)???

Go crawl back into the cave you came from...

The stats for this season may suggest that we perform quite reasonably in night games, but I am also trying to look at a broader spectrum - say over the past five years or so.

I see what you mean, but I could easily counter that with the fact that our overall performance over the last five years (this year excluded) has been at best ordinary, at worst abysmal. And the time of day never really had an impact.

Oh, and Suzi, come back when you have something relevant to say. The fact that you (you meaning Hawthorn, not you meaning Suzi) know all about Daniel Chick is only relevant if he actually plays (not 100% certain), and the fact you list Sampi among our top three running players indicates your ignorance (this time your = Suzi) of all things Eagles (even given Fletcher is out). I would put Kerr, Braun, and Embley ahead of Sampi for a start - for now anyway.

On behalf of the Hawthorn Football Club i apologise for any pathetic posts Suzi has made, we (Hawthorn) do not condone her and what she says and she has nothing to do with the Football club, we are all very ashamed she supports the club and is 1 person we could do without.I ask you from the bottom of my heart :D dont let Suzi change your perception of Hawthorn as a club (although it is hard with trolls like suzi).

Now that im over the pathetic troll and what she says lets move onto the game!!!

The 2 teams actually have a very healthy rivalry and whenever the teams go head to head you can be assured of a tough physical game.
Both teams have been playing fairly well besides Hawthorn loss to Brisbane which wasnt actually a bad effort and The Coasters shocker against Port, i expect the game to be preety close and if ever there was a time to play the Eagles it would be now, the fact is if Hawthorn dont beat West Coast then they dont deserve to be a force at all :D on the other hand if the Eagles dont beat Hawthorn they realy dont deserve to be considered this year as a flag threat.
Overall the game will be one in the midfield, Judd,Cousins,Kerr vs Crawford,Lekkas,Mitchell and which ever midfield starts to win the clearances will win the game.
One highlight ill be looking forward to will be seeing Hodge and Judd going at it for a 50 50 ball should be some sight.

So who am i tipping??? ill go with West Coast by 10 points home ground advantage should get them over the line.

cheers

All of what you state is true and I can't really counteract that. It's just in my own opinion that we are better prepared and focused on day games then when we play at night.

And to anyone who isn't reading this properly, this isn't an issue of what I like watching better or anything (because I like watching night and day footy about the same), just a personal feeling that I feel more comforatable in our chances of winning when the boys play during the day rather than the night, don't ask me why...perhaps they get sleepy or something when it hits 9.30pm. ;)

I completely understand Tige! Dont worry Suzi Trolsen wont make us think any less of the Hawthorn Football Club.

Is Ken Judge still associated with Hawthorn as a WA spy or since its against the side he formally coached, is he neutral for Friday nights game?

Real danger game for us. No Fletcher and Gardiner who have being two of our best three players all year. Our depth will be tested now and Hawthorn are in a must win situation.

Real danger game...I think we can prevail though.

I know that he is involved with his family over in WA.
He has done some recruiting this year. Yes he is a WA spy.

You don't know anything about this carlyp.

You will find that Judgey is a spy of WA for the hawks.

If he showed his face anywhere near the club he'd get his head smashed in! I also seriously doubt that the Hawks would want anything to do with him after he left them in the lurch!

we were glad he left us in the lurch. Only his replacement isnt all that crash hot I guess.

Depending on whether Schwabby can get you into the finals, if he cant, Im guessing you will all rue the day Judge walked out of the club.

pull ya head in carlyp !! - crap like that belongs on the kindy board.

Judge was obviously not the right coach for the eagles - but he has nothing but praise for them now. He shows no malice towards the club which is indicative of two things (1) judgey's character and (2) the proffessionalism of wc's administration
