Didnt ask. Dingley does have lights and a very nice media centre, but id suspect that the AFL will make the final decisionWill Frankston hold night games and dingley the day games or will dingley be able to hold night games aswell?
More than 10 years for KCC but the freeway extension and dingley bypass road projects had been planned much longer that would drive more traffic to the area.Lol only several years in development to forecast this issue.

. Plus Tootal Rd has needed improvements for far longer than that.
And while the parking probably isn't adequate for games and family days (behind the main building is reserved for club use, then there is just another few hundred spots near community oval and a few in the driveway). I would have thought that the surrounding areas would have always been planned to be used as over flow parking on event days.
I noticed in the email from Andy Gowers last night that you need to register for parking at Spring Valley Golf Club and list how many people are catching the bus to KCC.Wonder if they will think it’s a bad look or end up doing paid parking on event days that way people can pre book parking and then use the golf club ect as overflow parking?
Lucrative for the council...Parking in surrouding Tootals streets is going to be fun
As long as none of you lot park in front of my house it'll be okay.Parking in surrouding Tootals streets is going to be fun
But we could just catch a train to Glenferrie station.Lucrative for the council...
In fairness though, we have become accustomed to luxury. Back in the 70s most people had to park miles away from grounds
Kingston Council has approved to "fast track" Tootal Rd works recently (posted earlier in this thread) we should see some movement from them in this area in the not to distant future. This does not sound like a short term problem
If you lived on that line....But we could just catch a train to Glenferrie station.
You know you're allowed to change trains right? If you lived on that line....
Unfortunately we now live in an entitled world where people complain about anything & everything.I mean I get why it would put people off and it was annoying having to wait for the bus to get there and back but once your inside (especially for the first open session) it was nice to be able to walk around the facility without waiting for cars

There is no problem with criticism and ultimately it depends what they intend it to be. If simply a training facility it is excellent. If they plan large scale events less so but as an exception it was fine yesterday. To play games there seems totally untenable as things stand.Unfortunately we now live in an entitled world where people complain about anything & everything.
A bit like me now, complaining about the complainers
But I’d put up with having to catch a bus to KCC as I would have already known that was part of the deal
Gunna need a longer window soonNot the best pic, but all 13 of them are here at KCC.
