provided we win the prelim of course! :p no second chances now

weagles are definitely winged a bit but still a chance at ooobiaco, dunno if collingwoods game against sydney is a good indicator, their pressure was outstanding but they have not been troubled by sydney all season..

14 sleeps till geelong plays again...

Collingwood's non-contested style(soft if you will) isn't ideal for Geelong, but when you restrict Rocca and Cloke.. pretty much game over. Our defense would do the job. I still wouldn't like to play Collingwood in the prelim though. Injury depleted West Coast at the MCG is a much nicer thought. ;)
We beat Sydney at the stoppages last night, and they're one of the toughest sides going around. As for restricting Cloke, well, Egan couldn't manage it last time, and you won't even have him to play us next time (if we get over the Weagles on Friday night). So I don't see why you're so confident your defence will do the job on Cloke. Without Egan, and with Rusling now added to the Collingwood mix, our forward line will be a more difficult proposition.

That's not to say I think Collingwood will beat Geelong should we win through to the prelim. I don't. Geelong have been far and away the best side this year and will win the flag. But I think you're not giving due credit to Collingwood. We're not as good as Geelong, but we're far from soft and you're far from certain to stop Cloke.

Ridiculous post. Don't talk about a club if you haven't watched them play.

I heard the SEN mention of MMMackie, the guy was reading straight off the web. Made me realise anything we say could end up on the air!
Proceed with caution!

I said publicly this week I thought we'd win by a big margin, although I didn't quite have 106 pts in mind.

Saw the Pies beat Sydney on Sat. night, they looked pretty good and I think they'll beat the injury hit West Coast next week, although Subi is a significant factor.

Cloke Rocca and Rusling were all good, but we have the best backline in the league, by a long long way and would contain them .

But, that's not where we'll win it. If the midfield play like they did today it could be another demolition.

I almost cried we were so good today. A couple of those goals in the second quarter were sheer utter brilliance, pure football poetry.

I am not afraid of anyone.

AND, the players have the lid on nice and firmly. That huddle at the end was all the reassurance we needed.
