by 86 points. It was close untill after half time when the Roos kicked 9 goals in the third quarter. Some Roo fans gave heaps to Peter Bell, it was quite funny!!! (lol)

We won the game by 86 points and apart from the third quarter, played pretty poorly.
Good to see an even spread of the load today. Rawlings was very good when he came on, although needs to kick a bit better.
Motlop gave us the lead in the first half with his great disposal amongst the poor game. He looks the goods this year, finally.

I actually agree with Moti on this one. We played OK, but really should have nailed the Shiitfish by 110-120 points, taking such a huge lead into the last quarter.
As it is, we still won by heaps and have made our ladder position look healthier by being 5-6 and raising our percentage to above 90 (and only about 100 points in the red now), but the way we dealt with Fremantle gives us little indication of how we will go against Hawthorn - a unit which will probably get a few players back from injury and suspension, and have recently-returned players like Woods and Hay more match-fit than they have been recently.
Flogging a side like we did on Sunday, you have to do it and you can only beat the opposition you face on the day, but in the end it doesn't really tell you that much about where you are going and what you have to improve on to beat the next foe.

well no draft priority picks for us... we may as well play some finals footy then... the last five even six weeks have been great... I just hope Smith.. Harris.. and Motlop Jnr.. get to play a little more senior footy before the season is over...
