I was thinking, and would like to get a general concensus on starting an education board.

The idea would be for those still at school or uni to share ideas, motivate each others, and generally help each other out - I think it would be a good idea, and especially since I'm in year 12.

Anyway, I would offer to moderate or whatever, but what do the school people - and more importantly Bluey think?

I don't know if this is such a great idea, surely the motivation stuff can be left to private messages

Also what if somehow some sort of cheating went on? Wouldn't be too good now would it?

And how many others are in year 12 on here this year? Sounds to me like a board that will get used when someone is failing something and needs to cheat to pass

Firstly, there are quite a few here doing year 12, either VCE in Victoria, or elsewhere.

Secondly, you cannot cheat in year 12 anymore. They don't have the old CAT's, it basically comes down to exams or SAC's, which are held at school.

Just think it is a good idea...

It is very hard to cheat as such now, well sorta
The marks come from tests, and EVERY school has different tests.
Sure assignments are also used, but it is very hard to cheat on them, i know, 3 of my friends did last year and it is amazing how easily they were caught, so they got nil for the biggest assignment of the year.
I personally reckon it is a good idea, i too am doing year 12 this year, so it would be a help I think.

It's a ridiculous idea if there are only about 4 doing VCE or year 12. I agree with what Mantis said, less time on here more time studying

I really fail to see how it could help anyone at all, you want motivation talk about it on msn or chat. Sounds like someone just trying to become a Moderator

If you really want help with the HSC\VCE, give up your internet connection and get a tutor, or join a study group.

A board like this will be used VERY rarely. It would be a waste of space. How many people would use it? Sure it would be benificial some of the time, but for most part it would just be a waste of space.

Actually, there is HEAPS of people doing year 12 this year. I would estimate 15-20, and thats an estimate, may be even more.
I quite often go on the net for research while i am on bigfooty, and so will be on regardless, and i think it could be a really good idea.
