we don't need to worry to much about our back line

well, last night, i think the dees did pretty well in defence, but that may be because it was the crows...
but, they did manage to stop the ball from going throught those two VERY important posts...
in the firt half, the ball was in both 50 teams the same amount of times, but our defence players managed to get the ball out of their 50, and into our 50! pretty good huh!
any ways, after seeing them last night, i think that our back line was REALLY worked on!

yeah but mish u have to worry cos the adelaide forward line isnt the best in the comp. it is not as tall, as strong, or as potent, as say an essendon, or richmond forward line. i think last night we just survived. the crows have a smaller more quicker forward line than the fore mentioned temas, with the likes of Welsh and co, they crumb a lot of there goals off the pack. We were caught out a couple of times last night.

We will definately have to get our strength in the backline sorted out quickly, because otherwise we will just melt when we meet the bigger forward lines in the comp.

i agree nicki,
our backline was ok but against the crows its really nothing to be happy about.
they did improve but i still think that Neita will add a whole new dimantion down back and wont be dearly missed up forward.
in any case...

. Poor guy ran out of puff last night, he looked exhausted, but at least he had time to fix his hair b4 he went out for the 2nd half.

actually, i tend to agree with you all, but i was just saying that there is something in there that looked better from round 1...
also, this may sound weird, but i recon that YZE could maby go back...
some people may TOTALLY disagree with me, but thats just what i think. he's an amazing player who has great ability to get the ball, and that could help all together. I'm sure he would also sometimes pushforward to kick the odd goal or two!

Yze is one of those that can nearly play anywhere. In fact he often plays as a roving half back/midfielder.

well how about Woey? he doesn't get the ball as much in the midfield as he is a strong target but if he pushed back than maybe he'll be freed and have more of an impact on the game. Well i think that we are all making suggestions because we are desperate to pick up our defence and i think that so is the team therefore i wouldnt be surprised if they experimented throughout the year!
