As much as I hate Carlton, the league is better off for having them in it, especially when they're strong.

In fairness it was probably their crappy players and list manager that killed him. However it is pretty amusing that we dealt him the death blow.

I wouldn't be that worried about Bolton losing his job. Just think how much he's probably been getting paid. He'll take a year off then grab an assistant coach job somewhere at worst. Which incidentally will still pay more than 99% of us are getting paid I'm sure.

Anyway back to Carlton - no sympathy for them either. Make no mistake the only thing that swapping coaches changes is who will be responsible for preparing their submission to the AFL for priority draft picks. It was probably their plan all along for this year after they traded their first pick. Anyway they'll still be raving come preseason after they've won all of 3 games for the year how they are "closer to a premiership" lol.

Poor post. For starters, if anything, if a coach gets sacked because he loses to us then what does that say about us? Secondly, you can (and should) hate Carlton but without taking joy in the downfall of perfectly decent individuals like Bolton.

Interestingly we have a fair portion of our posters regularly squealing for Worsfold’s head; and yet it’s hands across the northern suburbs when our arch enemy sack their coach.
