Why should it not be automated these days and the emailed tickets come out minutes after you have placed the order. This happens elsewhere in the world where you are also allowed to select specific seats as highlighted on a stadium map when you are buying them. Unfortunately we are stuck with the monopoly of Ticketmaster and we are reminded of their failings every final series when you try and buy tickets.Give them a couple of days. They do have 40000+ orders to sort through.

This is my usual block, in row D. Great view right on the wing. Can be a bit difficult to make out the play when it's on the far side of the ground, but nothing beats being able to hear the bodies crash into each other when they're right in front of you.I'm in Block 100 too - definitely a different vantage point for me. I'm usually on the Southern side of the ground...
Scalping is another issue that the AFL has never bothered to do anything serious about. The solution is easy, you should only be able to get a max 10-15% above the face value of a ticket and get prosecuted, fined etc if you exceed this. Get onto Gumtree, Ebay , etc and catch all the people that contravene this and it will soon go away. This would be for sports, concerts, etc. The opposite view of this is to have authorised on sellers and not worry about scalping..if the user is willing to pay then they pay regardless of the profit.they are doing it in a bid to cut down on scalping
Peter Bell is talking about that now on 6PR

the scalpers wont be able to get rid of their ticketsAny reason why it shouldn't be?

Did you learn anything?Hello my favourite armchair mod. I'm back!
lolYup. Not to let you play moderator and tell me what to do. I will post as I see fit on this forum, not how a man who's always wanted to be a mod but can't get the gig sees fit. I was mildly out of line the other night, but my remorse has nothing to do with your childish posts. I will return to discussing freo and not venting on here.

Ease up Tiger.I am not being a douche. I am posting cooperatively with everyone on here now after learning my lesson. My over exuberance got me suspended and I have reeled that in. I am not absorbing your words because they are sanctimonious drivel. Seriously mate, if you want to be a mod that desperately apply to become one. But until then, you have the same powers as everyone else on this forum. Act like it.
The Internet is only like the whole world now, its serious business.Ease up Tiger.
It only the internets.
close to post of the yearI'm normally in 332 but my seat for Saturday is in 210 in the old 2 tier stand. I know I shouldn't whinge and I should be grateful I have a seat but I really want my normal seat. You know how it is when you have been sitting in the same seat for years and you have gotten to know everyone around you. I'm going to miss the nod of the head hello to the guys 3 rows down. I'm going to miss the shared raised eyebrows with the guy 5 seats down when some opposition flog says something stupid and I am most definitely going to miss the awesome arse of the lady in our row who, thank Jesus, gets up every 10 minutes and shuffles that awesome arse past my face to get herself another glass of wine.
Keep those wine glasses small Pattersons.

I got tickets in 335
Will I have sun in my eyes at any stage of the game?
Are the seats comfortable i.e. not wooden?
Is it a decent view?

Good spot. We are in row c, down the front right on the aisle. Come down and say hello next year.I am normally in 332 too. I am the miserable guy that sits 3 rows from the back with a very loud 6 year old.
