Just b/c its a leter pick does not mean u will not pick up a quality player ie Armfield. Warnock is unproven and we have been sucked in by freo's mind games.

I tend to agree with you, but i think its more the beaten up media frenzy that trade week is that have hyped this kid up.
It would be fair to say he would be now under the same sort of pressure as a #1 draft pick as a result.

I honestly rank him as one of the most promising young ruckmen I've ever seen. Will be a multiple All-Australian if he continues to develop as most good judges expect he will. Has every asset (and more!) required of a champion ruckman, just needs a couple more years in the gym.

As far as our draft picks this year go, I'm fine with what we have. We'll get an awesome player and take a couple of long shots with KPP. We have enough youth anyway.

Nothing wrong with Warnock as a footballer, Warnock the person has some ?'s on him but this may just have been frustration at not getting into the team behind Sandi (hee sooked a bit in the WAFL).

To be fair to Mescalito, he has maintained consistency with his views on Warnock. Personally, I think you've done better out of this than us because I think Warnock is worth more than that. But time will tell, I guess.
