I was thinking the same thing. Hopefully it could pump them up again.
If it had the same effect the game against Essendon did, then I'd be more than happy.

we would have pumped essendon anyway. we shouldnt have to bring up such a tragic event just to win matches

Well, I believe we have forgotten how to win and are playing in a way that is dishonouring both the fans and Troy, and therefore referring to the Troy Broardbridge event would help Melbourne become a closer team resulting in a new Melbourne from now and until the end of the season.

If only we had the heart of our late 80's & early 90's team under John Northey. Now they were some tough mongrels who went out and smacked the opposition and played finals 5 years in a row.

sorry to interupt im a richmond supporter im just doing my dream team i was wondering if anyone could tell me how long miller is out for with his hamstring?

e.g. Troy Broardbridge...

Its typical MFC footy. We are soft. We are 16th in hardball gets. Our tackling is hopeless and our defence has always for the last 10 years been questionable.

Daniher hasn't done enough to improve this footy club.

Don't be silly and think this inspiration was going to last more than the first week.

Its just time for our football club as a whole to step up and be counted. It was pathetic our drop out last year, and this year is just turning into the same manner.

This is how I see it.
Lose to Sydney- Won't make finals
Win vs Sydney- Still very good chance for top 4

Doesn't matter how you see it. Its just the fact that if we loose by over 50 points 2 weeks in a row then we don't deserve to make finals.

We can't just say we are top 4 team without putting it on the scoreboard. There is no point making finals when your no chance to challenge the next team.

Dees need to wake up and realise they need to win at least 5 of the last 7 before any other team could take them as serious contenders. At the moment were still Pretenders !! Just like last year.
