I wasn't even calling them crazy when I wrote that either, I was just explaining how the board/club could wave something like this away (which apparently is me embracing mediocrity).

If noone signs, they can just ignore it. If it gets media attentiin and goes viral, getting millions of signatures they can point to them not being essendon fans. Even if it got 1000s of signatures their response would be to bring something up at the AGM if you're serious...

But, it get a mention on RRR this morning during their sports bit about "Essendon fans taking it all well", so kudos to the OP for making people laugh (and groan) on the radio

Bring in some people from outside the club to conduct an external review. The rest should follow on from that.

At this point I’m not sure key people at the club know how to be successful we’ve been so far from it for so long.
