Hey guys,
A little tale I thought may amuse you.
I've just returned from the Greek Islands, and while in a little cafe in Rhodes, I was wearing my Carlton Fight Back T-Shirt. The waiter came up to me pointing to the emblem and asking in beautiful halting English "Carlton Football, yes?" "Australia, yes?".
I was stunned that he knew what the emblem was. Apparently he has relatives in Melbourne and he knows all about the club.
I was just amazed that someone so far away could pick that T-Shirt and the emblem out.
So there you guys, we really are famous!

BTW I was so rapt that the waiter knew all about Carlton I actually went back the next day and gave him the T-Shirt.

Way to spread the gospel Bee. That gesture may inspire him to get 50 family members in Melbourne to purchase memberships! Well we can hope can't we?

We can certainly hope, ODN. I must say when I handed him the shirt he was very happy, he kept saying "Efharisto, efharisto poli".
Which I think means 'Thank you, thank you a lot'.
At least I hope it does!

Grrr Jars, I came back to work yesterday and it was just awful. Today is a bit better, but it's so hard to concentrate and get back into the swing of things. Besides I am still in honeymoon mode.

Yep i'm afraid Carlton is known in places around the World you wouldnt suspect it's Known.Greenland,Ascuncion[Paraguay] and even Trondhjem,Norway.
