We still have player worries?

Yesterday Mark Alvey sat by the phone waiting on word about whether or not he had been traded to Essendon. He is still uncontracted. So will he nominate for the pre-season draft or was the desire to change clubs just a wish to be re-united with Dean Solomon?



I hope he stays.

Is he contracted?
If not he would have to nominate himself in the pre-season draft, then its still unlikely he will go to Essendon.

No but he might go to Carlton or Saints for lots more than we could offer. We get nix! This is a worry. If I were Alvey I wouldn't be too happy unless he stated specifically he wanted to go to Essendon.

I understand that Alvey has been unhappy for some time over delays to his payments.

Yes from what I have heard. And not just dud players either.
