Toast We triumph over Swans 80-73

Good performances from Grundy, Pendlebury, Greenwood, Roughead and Mayne.

Treloar was good but butchered it, Wells good while he was on, and a few others bobbed up - special mention to Brown.

We do have a number of weak links with so much depth being called upon, we’re pretty desperate for 2-3 key players to return just to get some class back. Fingers crossed JDG, Moore and Adams all in next week.

We got the job done somehow with an undermanned side. Thats a huge tick. Need to get players back though. We are losing rather than gaining every week.

You guys are really reminding me of us in like say 2014 at the moment.

Injury depleted at times. Just getting the job done. It's been three really scrappy wins in a row where you could take lots of negatives out of it but I think the main thing is you're finding a way to win and getting it done. True sign of a really great team.

Shame Sidey got tagged out of it, had coin on him for best on. Do you guys reckon he should've got more help to break that early?

Was getting heated there for a bit. Phone ricocheted off the couch and into the glass window, smashing it. :$:$:$:$:$:$:$:$:$:$
You’ve got watching footy down or then.. have you really barracked if you haven’t smashed something?

Scrappy game.

Really when you break it down some better kicking for goal would keep nerves at bay.

Other good thing, players know and reminded it won’t just happen.

Still feeling really down about wells. 34 years old and not in the trimmest shape, but his class was still so far ahead of the majority of our team. That ground ball pick up on the wing. I had allowed myself to think that this guy could actually be a big in for our team that could take us to a higher level, then he goes down. Very sad.

Probably could’ve, but we tend to go more down the path of just trying to beat opposition midfields head to head. I don’t think we really go out of our way to get a bloke involved when he’s clearly being hounded. We’re more of a take the best option, rather than look for the best players sort of side.

I hear you. Hopefully it’s not too bad.
