What I meant was that you can lay off at the much shorter quote now and can not possibly lose.
Year long bets drive me insane.
I've never seen the point.

And he only invested 50. May as well let it ride.

I predicted that a side who finished 12th would jump up into the top 4.

Surely this qualifies me for a job at Channel 7?

Collingwood finished nowhere near the top 4 though.

Hope we are punished for our top 2 finish next year with doubles ups against Hawks Crows and Norf. Seems only fair.
The draw is decided after finals.
We could still finish 5 or 6!

Enough of that talk! Seriously though I'd take those three over out of the eight Dee's and Pies next year.
I do fear that scenario, tbh, straight sets, but that is typical me.
Some weeks , we have not been a top 4 team, but our overall record v the top 8 suggests otherwise.
We have been unsettled all year- CS said that too- yet here we are. What will be will be; we have no influence on our team's fortunes, yet I feel guilt to not have the confidence that other supporters have.

It's interesting how our supposedly ultra-soft draw this year hasn't actually ended up being that easy. Sure, we had Brisbane and Essendon twice, but the other three double-ups turned out to be harder than expected. GWS, Adelaide and the Bulldogs were all top eight teams, so we had just as many double-ups against top eight teams this year as Hawthorn and Sydney.

I think the Bulldogs and Adelaide were just about what people expected, and pretty much exactly what they were last year. 8-5 teams. GWS was the only substantial one to improve significantly.
