Mick just took Jolly through a very public test.

Lateral work against Keefe.
Butters giving Jols instruction on what to do.
Jolly smiling after each run through.

Jolly contesting a mark with Pebs off Micks boot.

All seems honkey dory.

That's the session over by the look of it.

From JB on chat.
Summary: Jollly put through several fitness tests and passed. Reid trained with main group for entire session.

Wow, just wow.

Wasn't worried about Reid, but after seeing Jolly in that last quarter on Friday pulling up short, and not being able to run, I definitely thought it was a hamstring or something to that extent, and had given up on him this week.

From all reports its looking good for him, maybe it just was cramp? If we can get him up and going Saturday it really would help our chances.

I wasn't that confident in us getting over the line early this week but I'm starting to believe now.

Jolly looked the goods, he was sprinting, kicking and didn't look hampered by injury :)

BTW, what was with the white and blue jumpers. It looked like the 'blues' were the certainties to line up on Sat (Fasolo was wearing blue) whilst the squad members/players boarderline 22 were wearing white (Didak, Beams, Wellingham and Steele were all in white alongside the likes of Sinclair, Buckley, Keefe etc.)

Don't know what to take from it, surely they would be more secretive with their selection?

Leroy was also wearing white and Jolly, Reid and Fasolo were wearing Blue. I don't read much into it, but you never know. I initially though it was a bit odd until I saw Steele and Leroy in white. Also guys like Swan and O'Brien ended up turning their tops inside out to be white as well, I think it could have been due to match ups in the main training drill.

Great news - now get Butters to literally wrap Jolly's entire body in three layers of cotton wool, and give him strict instructions to not move out of bed until 10am Sat morning, at which point he is to destroy Ottens and West. Very nearly faced with the prospect of losing two of our most important players for a GF, and do not want to go through that EVER AGAIN! (still hurting after losing Rocca in '03.)

Just got back from the session. Jolls moved well, from light work up to full sprints during the match practice. Also did some contested work with Woody and looked fine. He did look a bit proppy as he left the field though. Reidy just looked totally fit. Early in the session Mick made a beeline for Beamsy and had a quick chat. At one stage he shook his head and Beamsy dropped his head a bit. Later on Beamsy had a chat with Johnno and Johnno gave him a bit of a pat on the shoulder. Looks to me as though Fas or Goldy will be coming in to the side. Fas did extra work kicking for goal after the session and Goldy was taking fullback duties during match practice. Dunno, but that's how it looked to me. Overall we looked sharp.
