Week 1 of Finals Tips and Crowd Expectations

West Coast
Dogs
Richmond
Geelong

Feel like 3 games may be decided by default due to available personnel.

Essendon, Collingwood, GWS all have awful injury situations to important players.. whilst their opponents West Coast, Geelong and The Dogs are all pretty much at full strength.

Richmond over Brisbane just because of finals experience. Brisbane probably need another 2 years to to have that mental toughness in big stage games.

The Dogs were without Libba, Wallis, Morris, Dickson and Daniel from the best 22 today and have had Picken and Boyd retire this year due to injury / mental health issues. Far from the worst injury list, but a fair bit from full strength.

I initially thought Collingwood but now leaning towards the Catters.

Prelim:

West Coast d. Brisbane
Richmond d. Collingwood

West Coast Richmond GF
Think you have the prelims wrong, if Richmond win first week winner of eagles Geelong would play the tiges in one prelim while winner of lions dogs would play the pies.
Your prelims should be
Richmond v west coast
Collingwood v Brisbane

GWS 54 d by WB 90, 20k

GWS Vs Western Bulldogs - 18pts 22K
Brisbane Vs Richmond - 10pts 36K

Eagles by about 7 goals

Cats/Pies will be relatively tight all night and then one team will pull away to win by 3 or 4 goals in the last 5 minutes. I'm taking the Pussy's

Giants/Dogs is a bit of an everyone says game, this is going to be tighter than most think. * it, dogs by 5 goals

Gut feel is the Lions get up. They'll crack the damn wall at some point in the 4th quarter, anywhere from a few points to 3/4 goals

WC Eagles v Essendon
Geelong v Collingwood

GWS Giants v W Bulldogs
Brisbane Lions v Richmond
