Weevils – How do I get rid of them?

My pantry and kitchen is plagued with weevils (ant-size red/brown beetles that can fly but crawl slowly).

How can I get rid of them without having to completely clear out the pantry and/or burn the house down?

Find where they started
I had them bad in lentils once that spread to lots of other stuff
But if you get them early it might only be in the one thing
Then toss and clean and store stuff in jars

Move house.

Seriously though get rid of any open bags of grains; oats, rice (we had a colony in a Tupperware container full of chilli flakes), clean all your cupboards scrupulously.

They’re so hard to get rid of because they multiply so quickly, and lay eggs in the strangest spots. Best attack is a good defence though - get the whole kitchen spotless and triple check. No doubt you’ll keep finding them crawling in random areas. Just keep killing them.

We had an ordeal when we moved into our new house and came back to about a hundred of the campaigners crawling up our kitchen wall. Eerie as *.

Empty the panty and clean it wirh some good disinfectant and go thru the food

For those wondering, the weevils took over in a bloodless coup.

I have been exiled to the backyard, which is rampant due to the recent rain.

The house is scheduled to be burnt down in the coming days.

I had some weevils in my bag of flour so I put it in the freezer for a week
now I have higher protein flour (if I dont sieve too much)

Had a few holes in the papadums couldn't see anything but it must be there ???
So I froze them for a few days
A bit more protien isnt going to kill me
