IMO his 2000 one looks lame.
Much preferred his Essendon members only edition to the official one.

Paul Harvey is new on the footy caricature / poster scene as far as I know.
He's definitely talented. I know Brisbane have commissioned him for caricatures of retiring players.
Here's his Aka one.

I like this 1958 losing one for Melbourne.

On the subject of overall WEG premiership posters, it's been a hobby of mine for the last 6 or so years to collect all of them from 1897. I have one left, and I cannot find it anywhere. Richmond - 1943.

Are you going for the limited print ones or just the regular ones?

There is a Jack Dyer version on Ebay right now....

I find this poster funny.
Essendon played at the East Melbourne Cricket Ground this season.
They didn't move to Windy Hill until 1922.
...Also it was long before players started wearing numbers.

It was also a long time before they were known as the Bombers.
That didn't occur until World War 2

Hey there. I'm new to this site but also have an interest in weg posters. I'm also a collector of the limited edition wegs. The 1st produced in 2003, lions, only 500 of them to celebrate wegs 50 years producing his posters. As they were so popular they decided to do them every year but print 1000 of them. Does anyone else collect these posters.

Off topic slightly, but when we moved in to our last house, we found a hand drawn WEG charicture of the old lady who built and lived in the house.

Still got it, not sure what to do with it though.
