Finally replaced Craig MacRae. Good to hear

Gotch is not a Development Coach like McRae.

He work with our Academies Boys. That hopefully be good enough to play AFL when they are in there Draft Year

This says he will work with players on our list, so surely he'll be doing more than just looking after Academy kids:-

Interim GM of Football Marcus Wagner said the club was excited to welcome Gotch back to the Holden Centre.

“Brad has an infectious passion for football and coaching and we look forward to having him work closely with the players on our list,” Wagner said.

So I guess his Job is just not as Academy Then.

So I guess he does both Development Work and Also have some time with the Academy

He'd be good working with our 1st-4th year players. Coached Dragons to a Premiership in the TAC cup. Not sure if I'd want him as GM- but I don't know his skill set there.

I think he was a decent cricketer also.

He certainly was! Played state cricket for Victoria in teams boasting Lawry, Sheahan, Stackpole, Redpath and Robert Rose. Dougy Gott was one of those super talented sportsman that excelled at nearly every sport he took up. As a footballer he was a gorgeous left foot kick (kicked it to the centre of Viccy Park effortlessly) and on his day he was a wonderful "attacking defender" who could transfer play and intercept mark with the best of them. In the end he chose cricket and played on through the seventies before retiring to be a very highly decorated district cricketer. He was a left handed opening bowler and a typical number 11 batsman.

I have you as a Johnny Farnham fan.
I saw him once in concert, 1988, liked You're the Voice. That saw me out.

Let's just say I like Darren james' pretending to do John Farnham more.

My music: Bruce Springsteen, Bob Marley, Beatles, John Lennon
Fat Freddys Drop

Is he dancing to 'US Forces' on that footy card?

Hope not.
Dreadful song. Just my opinion. Never liked midnight oils.

Saintly, you are polling well in the BF awards, but I may have to deduct points for this!

I wonder, if Peter Garret came to Collingwood, where would we play him?

(In truth, Garret comes across as a sanctimonious pain in the ass, but a great band!)

Fair point.
Just never my cup of tea.
They no doubt have a lot of talent just don't like Garrets voice.

He would play for us on the left wing I suspect ;)

His young fella was a gun footballer also, still a very good cricketer also.
