i have seen others mentioned this but only seen it now on my smaller laptop but yes in low enough resolution the sidebar does overlap the left hand side. i'm using 1366 x 768. if it were any narrower and the side bar would start to overlap over the users id box.

I hate that section that lists all the moderators who are online. I don't like any of them, why do I give a **** if they are online?

Also, I don't have any interest whatsoever in the bigfootynews or opinion/blog pieces, so the vast majority of the home screen is completely irrelevant and pointless to me. I now have to scroll to the bottom to see the most recent forum posts, and there's less of them? The whole formatting of the home page is pretty ugly to be honest, with the gigantic icons that clog up all the space. Font size looks massive too, don't know if that's great.

Speaking of the "most recent posts", it would be nice to see which forum the post was in. It will save my visiting the Richmond board where most people appear to be missing a chromosome.

There's also (as others have said) seems to be more white space on the screen. and more scrolling required to read the forums

Also, I'm tired of having to see everyone's avatars again. Can I turn them off? I can see prettier girls elsewhere.

Not that I ever minded it, I like the idea of seeing what mods are on, if I ever need to get in contact with one I can find one that is online.

Again, any hints on how to post code now? No longer works for me since the upgrade. Just trying to paste from excel, but the columns go all out of whack when you post it.

Try adding '=rich' after 'code' - ie [ code=rich ] (without the spaces). May still take some tinkering / may not work. YMMV.

Also try pasting it in BB Code Editor (not Rich Text Editor).

With the BigFooty 100% template, does everyone now have the left nav overlay the postbits (the avatar/user info stuff)?





If so, would 'BigFooty 90%' be a preferred option, allowing room for the left nav?

Chief the Alerts don't work as well as the old My Big Footy function. There are several threads I have posted in that don't get alerts but others have added to it.

And that includes threads that I have posted in after the change to the system

Are you watching those threads? When you post (more options...) You get a "Watch this thread" option. If you just quick-reply in the box at the bottom of the thread you don't get this option.

Clicking the little A in the top right corner of the Rich Text editor (the box you type replies in) will switch it to the BB Code Editor.

Yeah I had already ticked the Automatically watch threads that you create or when you reply... option in my preferences. It was more that sometimes I got alerts and othertimes I didn't and other threads I got no alerts at all.

I will use the Watch this thread option when I post and also watched threads function in the User/Personal Profiles drop box.

Flicking to BB Editor then pasting the data, then putting code=rich tags around them results in this:

Obviously has difficulty with different cell lengths, and far from ideal, but may give you something to tinker with.

Can we make that text smaller so it takes up one line instead of 3?

Same with peoples names..Instead of 2 lines, or widening the box, make their font smaller?
