Hi,

For the past couple of days I have been unable to quote any posts, when I press the reply button it looks like the system is processing but the quote doesn't come up.

The like button works fine.

I can post comments fine but not the quote function.

Now I did notice my laptop doing some updates from the Microsoft website on Internet Explorer a couple of days ago so maybe something has changed on this end on internet settings.

Have you ever come across this issue with anyone else.

I was having this issue as well. It had happened before and was fixed, now it's back. I was using a workaround of opening the reply in a new tab, which worked for me no problem. A few weeks ago I moved to Google Chrome and haven't had a problem with it.

The 'scroll' ads are main king the site slow for me on both IPad and Android phone.

They also come up nearly every single page even if I've closed them the page before.

They are terrible to look at hard to click close as they are so sensitive. It would be good if they didn't open a new page that has audio though as I'm trying procrastinate at work without getting in trouble

In the past the ads have been on a cool down of a day or hour (but it's not always worked out that way even if intended) and if you have to have them it would be great if we could close them and have them stay closed for a while.

Pesky floating banner ads that try to live on the bottom of the viewable screen.

I dont know the correct name.

Yep came on here to post that exact thing. The banner ads fixed to the footer are so annoying. It wouldn't be so much of a problem if they actually stuck on scroll, but they don't. At least not on my ipad. It'll jump around for a second and then place itself back on the footer.

Makes trying to click something an absolute nightmare. And, turns me off BigFooty on my mobile devices.

For some reason, I can't quick reply anything. I can't see my alerts without clicking to go to the latest alerts page, can't go to my private messages without going to them all first. When I quote something it goes to a new page where I have to reply instead of the quick reply box. Also when I like something, or post, it doesn't show up and I have to refresh the page in order to see it.

This problem only happens on Chrome, not on Firefox. And I'm too scared to use IE

I've all of a sudden stopped receiving email notifications to all my subscribed threads. I thought it was really strange there had been no replies to any threads I was subscribed to when I checked my emails this morning, so I went on my club forum and found that all the threads I'm subscribed to have since had replies ranging as far back as yesterday arvo.
I don't use the alerts but or any other subscribed thread alerts except for the emails received so it kind of threw me off.

Try clear the cache on your chrome browser, should fix that I'd say.

Did that, didn't work originally but after restarting the computer it worked. Not sure if it was because of clearing the cache, or whether it was just coincidence, but thanks

Yep, no email alerts for 5 odd days now. It's the least i've visited Bigfooty since I started. No complaints, I have my life back. But it might be in the forum's best interest to investigate lest your posters start losing interest and regaining their lives back.

Or it could be to do with some underlying changes happening with site, you may find them in your spam box. Regardless of what the cause is, the site is shifting early next week and whilst it will look exactly the same, the way in which email works is changing, so we will wait and see if this is still a problem after Tuesday.

That's good. The alert/tag/like feature is extremely helpful so I'm glad the new server will look (so I presume do) the same, albeit with better performance.

The site title for our board currently reads 'Melbourne Demons Demons' -- i.e. that's what's showing up in any open tabs, the very top page info/title section of the browser, etc.
