Being in the centre of my screen on a widescreen leaves too much grey space on the left and right which gives it a very unappealing look and feel
Yes I'd like to stretch it out a little, change the colours etc.

Am I right in thinking that watching forums is almost entirely pointless? The whole idea of subscriptions in vBulletin was to get a 'custom index' in your UserCP, but an equivalent feature doesn't seem to exist here. The watched forums page is useless for anything beyond removing subscriptions, and the alternatives are getting bombarded with emails or alerts, or navigating via the entirely uninformative sidebar.

I've updated my bookmark to point to my most-read forum, but there seems to be no intuitive way to keep tabs on the other half-dozen I'm interested in.

Clicking on the grey rectangular box in the top left hand corner minimises the jump bar. It remembers if you like it closed or expanded.

Thanks for the response. Not sure if I made myself clear...

When I'm on the forums page the sidebar is like below. Just how I had it before the update.

Now, whenever I click on a board or open a thread the sidebar changes like this...

How do I keep it like the first picture? This is how it was all the time before the update. Thanks.

For youtube clips, do you just click "embed media" and then type the whole URL in, or just the code at the end?

Looks like all of the old youtube clips posted aren't embedded anymore.
Put the whole link it, it will do the rest.

To be honest, after using it for a while, things are just more complicated. Seeing thread page numbers only by hovering over them is ridiculously poor, the fonts overall aren't very clear, avatars on the sub-forum pages makes the forum look like a joke, likes aren't needed.

Should have looked at Whirlpool as an example of a simple, effective forum scheme.

Edit: Non scrolling forum map on the left... sigh.

Maybe it's just my poor memory, but I thought my join date was earlier than Sep 1 2006.
Or maybe it's just my poor memory.

Or maybe it's just my poor memory.

Possible dumbass query inbound. It's not letting me change my avatar. At the edit avatar section where it says "choose file" I click on it and nothing happens? Am on an iPhone if that makes a difference?
