Mr Pilkington is a popular man. One may say, however, that Karl was a clone of my avatar.. same hairstyle 'n all.

I like how the reply box grows to meet the size of your response. There are some cool new features with this software..once the theme is re-BF'ised then we will accept it (i miss that guy).

One of the first things I did..very annoying!..Re: the avatar, my husband did this one for me this arvo, but had lots of trouble doing it.

lol worst upgrade ever. It might have been impressive in 2005.

Times New Roman font and I feel like I need my monitor portrait to use up all the blank space.

It's taken 9 years to upgrade and this is the result

Is there going to be an increase in the amount of characters allowed in a post? I only ask as now it takes 25 posts to post a game in the SFA as opposed to 2.

Disabled. It puts a lot of strain on the DB, so they turn it off while they're mucking around with the back end.

Search is temporarily disabled. This is linked to access to old posts through your profile page. It will be turned back on when the techs finish mucking around with the database and settings.

Links to old BigFooty posts probably come up as errors because all the URLs have changed.

I can't see a "who's browsing" section down the bottom. Is that gone for good?

I understand that this new update is much better for storage and those running the site, but from a user's point of view, at the moment this is so much worse than the old site. Both aesthetically and functionally.

I'm not sure, but for the time being (as a workaround) you can go to Google and run a search limited to our domain by adding "site:bigfooty.com" to the search bar.

e.g. if I wanted threads on Hawthorn I would type the following into Google Search:

site:bigfooty.com hawthorn

Yeah I tried that but you have to be very specific with your request not to get 5,000,000 results. Better than nothing so I'd better think of something very specific to search.
