Im sure its been covered but have animated gifs in peoples avatars been disabled. If not then why dont they work as yet?

The new forum software doesn't support animated avatars out of the box.

The techies may be able to install a different image processor that does support them at some point, but it is not straight-forward and I imagine not a high priority.

Hover over alerts and click on "Alert Preferences".

Yeah ive done that,

• Replies to a watched thread
  Someone replies to a thread you are watching
• Attaches a file to a watched thread
  Someone replies and attaches a file to a thread you are watching

Both unticked, yet still get alerts.

It would be nice to have the number of pages a thread has showing automatically rather than having to roll over the thread link.

It was one of the ways I could quickly gather whether a thread is popular or not. Having to look across to the right to the Views column isn't easy as I struggle to match the thread with its matching Views column.

Sadly I think I will need to also change my avatar. It's useless without the movements.

The amount of panic merchants on BF is shamelessly embarrassing..

Upgrades looking quite schmick.

I realise it may be a few more weeks before all the creases are ironed out but i'll give two more to work on in the meantime:

Gaps between pictures still evident. (as I wallpaper my updates >>pics<< together).

Go to: http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/watched/threads

Click 'Show all watched threads'.

Tick boxes next to threads you'd like to stop watching.

In the drop-down box at the bottom of the list select 'stop watching threads'.

Click 'Go'.

Voila.
